Submarine cable system implementation company WFN Strategies has, after two years of development, successfully achieved accredited certification to the ISO 9001 international standard for quality management.

Oceaneering International, Inc. announced that it secured a contract from Anadarko Petroleum Corporation to supply the umbilical for Anadarko’s Constellation subsea tieback in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. The contract is for a dynamic and static electro-hydraulic steel tube control umbilical, and associated hardware. Oceaneering plans to design and manufacture the umbilical at its facility in Panama City, Florida.

Houma, Louisiana based C-Dive, LLC, expands it’s fleet with the delivery of its new-build dive support vessel (DSV), the "217". The company is making a bold move with delivery of its vessel in a diminishing market but is confident it is the right thing for the industry. The purpose built vessel is the first 4-point Sat DSV of it’s kind built for the Gulf of Mexico, instead of the industry practice of converting an offshore support vessel to a dive support vessel.
