The Society’s Premier Annual Event at an Exciting New Venue This year the HDS will be holding its 2011 Conference at the world renowned Mariner’s Museum in historic Newport News, Virginia. Not only will attendees have the opportunity to listen to informative presentations by diving authorities, but they will also be able to visit the country’s leading maritime museum – the home of the recovered turret and guns of the Civil War’s most famous vessel, the U.S.S.
