Deadline Approaching to Change Commissioner Compensation

The next qualifying period is April 28 - May 2, 2008, which means that if commissioners are interested in increasing their compensation, they must adopt the new compensation rate no later than the day before the first day of qualifying. 2008 Wellness Grants to Be Distributed in April

To promote member participation in wellness activities, the ACCG - Group Health Benefits Program (GHBP) again offered Health Promotion Grants to those counties and authorities that participate in ACCG's health insurance program through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia. Notifications to counties that are to receive grants will begin going out this week.

Gov. Perdue recently called for applications for the second round of Certified Work Ready Community Commitments/Grants.
