HUNGER ACTION MONTH

Georgia Food Bank Association Member Food Banks Are Taking Action!

September is Hunger Action Month.  The Georgia Food Bank Association, comprised of seven regional food banks in Georgia who are part of the of the Feeding America network, will join with partner hunger relief agencies to ask everyone in Georgia to play a role in fighting domestic hunger.

Hunger affects communities all across the country - rural, urban and suburban. Right here in Georgia, more than one in six individuals struggle with hunger.  The problem is closer than you think, but so is the solution.

Take Action: Volunteer, donate food or funds, learn more about hunger!
