Murray Finkbiner, President/COO - AFA Forest Products Inc. is very pleased to announce that George Hendry will be joining AFA Forest Products Inc. as the Director of Marketing.

George will start his new career on September 4th and will be based out of the Langley, BC branch.

George will be responsible for National Accounts, Marketing and Merchandising; Product Management and Development; Market Research; Distribution Channel Management as well as Special Projects.

Home Hardware has committed once again to optimizing their supply chain with the recent announcement to move forward with an Automated Material Handling System.

The project, in partnership with Dematic and Manhattan Associates has been a part of ongoing efforts by the company to optimize their supply chain and reinforce their strength in distribution, positioning the company for future growth.

“I am very pleased we continue to invest in our state-of-the-art distribution systems with updates to our Material Handling Equipment at our St. Jacobs facility,” says John Dyksterhuis, Vice-President, Distribution. “Our strength in distribution is one of the best in Canada and we are proud to continue to provide excellence to both our Dealers and our customers.”

The project is set to launch in the third quarter of this year with a targeted completion date of July 2020.
