CPHB Orientation & Codes Class
To have a successful business, perception can either be your greatest ally or biggest obstacle. The Atlanta real estate market is the largest in the state, and more than ever before, consumers are doing their own research and are better prepared to make one of the biggest investments of their lives as they build their American dreams. As consumer accessibility increases, it is imperative for your company’s image to be as carefully crafted as the homes you build. Consumers need to associate the quality and professionalism of your company’s name with the quality and professionalism in the homes you build. In response to concerns raised by builders, The Housing Institute, Inc. (THI) recognized the need to develop a vehicle within the home building industry that would recognize, enhance and promote the professionalism of home builders.
It was with this need in mind that the Certified Professional Home Builder (CPHB) program was created. One of the greatest benefits of the CPHB program to its membership is the ability to market yourself and your company as a Certified Professional Home Builder. THI has received enormous response to the CPHB program, fielding more than 100 consumer calls a month looking for qualified builders. When the builder licensing law goes into effect on July 1, 2008, consumers are sure to look for more than a licensed builder, builders who are dedicated to the highest level of professionalism, customer service and homeowner satisfaction- a CPHB.
Join us for our CPHB orientation seminar and learn about the program and complete an ICC codes prep class in one day. In the two-hour program orientation, the benefits of the CPHB program will be reviewed, as well as the initial application process and yearly renewal requirements. THI has often heard that the codes exam is one of the biggest hindrance for builders in becoming a CPHB or for even applying to the program. With that in mind, THI partnered with American Contractors Exam Services to create a six-hour codes exam prep course. Attendees will learn the most effective ways to use the Code Book, highlight important information that you are likely to see on the exam and simulate the exam throughout the seminar with interactive remotes. Class size is limited to 24 attendees.
Orientation classes begin with 8:00 am and go until 10:00 a.m. The Codes classes begin at 10 am and go until 5:30 pm.
Dates Scheduled at HBA in Education Center, The Housing Center, 1484 Brockett Rd. Tucker, GA 30084
