Tyler Meeting

Thank you to all of those who attended our meeting in Tyler on April 29 and 30.  We had a highly successful event and we hope everyone in attendance found the meeting was useful.  We appreciate all the hard work the East Texas chapter put into hosting the event.  Melissa Harris, Ashley Summers and Broderick McGee are to be commended for a job well done.  In addition, wed like to thank Jose Berrios (SHRM Board Chair) and Hank Jackson (SHRM Interium CEO) for spending the day with us. The presentation an question and answer session were both very professional and forthcoming.

The next two years will be the turning point for our profession and a vital time for the recovery of our nation. That’s why we have designed the 2011 Annual Conference to offer courses that go beyond anything we have done in the past. The event will feature the largest number of practitioners, strategic business management sessions and health care sessions ever. We know what the future holds for our profession, and we know that without a plan in place it could mean the difference between boom or bust for the nation.

For conference details and to register log on to www.shrm.org.
