About Us:
South Carolina Rural Water Association (SCRWA) is a nonprofit organization representing rural systems throughout the State of South Carolina regarding drinking water and wastewater needs. The association is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors compromised of distinguished members of the water and wastewater industries. Active members consist of public and non-public water and wastewater systems. Our purpose is to ensure – through education and training – that rural residents, towns, and communities in South Carolina are supplied with clean water.

By joining South Carolina Rural Water Association you will become part of America’s largest and strongest voice for water utilities. Your membership will allow us to continue to expand our services to better meet the needs of the water and wastewater systems of South Carolina.

Legislative Advocacy and Communication Initiative
SCRWA has established a Legislative monitoring service to keep you informed on what issues are being considered by your governing legislative officials and what their potential impact will be on your company or town. The SCRWA LACI Program is 100% supported through donations from the membership of SCRWA. These funds are used to monitor and keep us advised of legislative activities that impact the water and wastewater industry in SC.
