According to ALTA’s preliminary 2011 Second-Quarter Market Share Analysis, California generated the most title insurance premiums during the second quarter of 2011 at $320 million, down 8.8 percent compared to the first-quarter of 2010. Overall, the title insurance industry generated $2.3 billion in title insurance premiums during the second quarter of 2011, down $2.33 billion during the same period a year ago. (end)
 
ClosingCorp announced its SmartGFE Calculator can be embedded on a title company’s website to automatically calculate title and settlement rates, transfer taxes and recording fees for Good Faith Estimates (GFE).
